Have you ever wondered what it’s like to spend a few days training Muay Thai in Thailand?
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a fitness enthusiast, or someone who has always wanted to experience authentic Muay Thai in Thailand, our 3 Days, 3 Nights Muay Thai Experience gives you the opportunity to train, stay, eat, and experience Bangkok like a local.
So, what does a typical day look like?
Let’s take you through it.

7:00 AM – Wake Up and Start the Morning with a Run
Wake up in your private room, get dressed, lace up your running shoes, and get ready for the morning.
One of the best things about staying at our Muay Thai camp is how convenient everything is. Our boutique accommodation is located directly beside the gym, meaning you don’t need to worry about travelling across Bangkok to get to training. Simply walk over to the training ground and get ready for your session.
For those who want to get their cardio in before class, you can join the morning running session, which starts at approximately 7:20 AM. Our trainer will guide you to the running area in the local residential community, where you can run at your own pace before returning to the gym to start Muay Thai at 8:00 am.
Why run before Muay Thai training?
Build stamina: Running develops cardiovascular endurance, helping students maintain energy throughout training.
Improve conditioning: It helps prepare the body for the physical demands of Muay Thai, including pad work, bag work, and conditioning.
Develop mental discipline: Getting up early and running consistently builds the discipline that is an important part of a fighter’s lifestyle.
Experience authentic Muay Thai culture: Traditionally, running is an important part of a Thai fighter’s daily training routine.

8:00 AM – Morning Muay Thai Training
Now it’s time to get to work.
Our morning Muay Thai session is where you’ll start learning the fundamentals, developing your technique, and building your fitness.
A typical session may include:
- Warm-up and skipping rope
- Shadowboxing and footwork
- Learning punches, kicks, knees and elbows
- Pad work rounds (3-4 rounds) with a trainer
- Heavy bag combinations
- Technical drills and defensive movements
- Sparring and clinching rounds
Whether it’s your first time throwing a kick or you’re already familiar with Muay Thai, our trainers will adjust the session to suit your experience and fitness level.
9:30 AM – Breakfast and Refuelling
After training, it’s time to refuel.
One of the best parts of staying in Bangkok is the food. You’ll find an incredible variety of local Thai restaurants, fresh food markets, cafés, and international food options around the gym.
Some great breakfast choices include:
- Thai omelette with rice
- Chicken/Fish and rice
- Fresh fruit and smoothies
- Coconut water
Meals are not included in the 3-day package, but there are plenty of affordable food options nearby. We can also help point you towards healthy food choices and delivery options.

11:00 AM – Recovery and Time to Yourself
You’ve completed your first training session, so now it’s time to recover.
One of the biggest mistakes people make when starting Muay Thai is thinking they need to train hard every minute of the day.
Recovery is just as important as training.
You might want to:
- Take a short nap.
- Stretch and work on your mobility.
- Stay hydrated.
- Enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
- Explore the neighbourhood.
- Treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage
Your room is designed to make your stay comfortable, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and space to relax between sessions.
12:30 PM – Lunch Like a Local
Bangkok is a food lover’s paradise.
Whether you prefer traditional Thai food or something more familiar, you’ll find plenty of choices around Khongsittha.
Some popular Thai dishes worth trying include:
- Pad Kra Pao: Stir-fried meat with Thai basil, garlic, and chilli, usually served with rice and a fried egg.
- Khao Man Gai: Thai chicken rice, a simple and delicious meal that’s popular with locals.
- Pad Thai: Thailand’s famous stir-fried noodles.
- Tom Yum: A flavourful Thai soup with herbs, spices, and a delicious balance of sour and spicy flavours.
If you’re training twice a day, remember to eat enough to support your energy levels and recovery.
3:00 PM – Afternoon Muay Thai Training
Time to head back to the gym!
The afternoon session is another opportunity to develop your Muay Thai skills and put what you’ve learned in the morning into practice.
You’ll continue working with our trainers on technique, combinations, pad work, conditioning, and other aspects of traditional Muay Thai.
For beginners, this is a chance to become more comfortable with the movements and build confidence.
For more experienced students, it’s an opportunity to sharpen technique, improve timing, and work on specific areas of their game.
You’ll also get to experience the atmosphere of a real Muay Thai gym in Thailand, training alongside other international students and local fighters.

4:30 PM – Shower, Relax and Enjoy Bangkok
After the afternoon class, head back to your room, take a shower, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
The rest of the evening is yours.
Bangkok is an exciting city with so much to explore. Depending on your interests, you could:
- Discover local Thai restaurants.
- Visit nearby markets.
- Explore Bangkok’s shopping centres.
- Experience the city’s famous street food.
- Watch a live Muay Thai fight at a local stadium.
If it’s your first time in Thailand, we encourage you to explore beyond the gym.
7:00 PM – Dinner and Time to Recharge
After a full day of training and exploring, it’s time for dinner.
Bangkok has hundreds of food options, so you won’t have trouble finding something delicious.
Enjoy a traditional Thai meal, try something new, or find a healthy restaurant that suits your training goals.
Remember to stay hydrated and give your body the nutrition it needs.

9:00 PM – Time to Rest
Tomorrow is another day of training.
Head back to your private room, relax, and get a good night’s sleep.
One of the best things about staying at Khongsittha is the convenience of having your accommodation right next to the gym.
No long commutes, no complicated travel arrangements, and no need to worry about getting across the city for your next session.
Just wake up, walk over, and do it all again.
